sylys is built by Liberatory Intelligence Laboratories, Co. (LIL Co.) where intellectual sovereignty is paramount and where the belief is that your thoughts should remain your own.

So our AI features are opt-in with a local AI option. If you are using cloud based models you will need to refer to your providers terms and services regarding training disclosures.

However, when running AI locally you can rest assured that your thinking isn't being harvested, trained on, or sold.

No. While the AI feature in sylys supercharge the apps helpfulness, AI is not a requirement.

You can use it where it helps, run it locally, or disable it entirely , without losing access to core functionality. With AI turned off sylys is still an exceptional powerful organizational application

In some cases, yes — as a draft.

AI in sylys can:

But every change is a proposal. You decide what becomes final.

sylys treats AI as an assistant inside a governed system, not an autonomous agent.
